How to Share a File?

There are two ways to share a file in Elium.

Add the file to an article

1. Create or edit an article.

2. Add a "File" block from the panel on the left.

3. Drag and drop the file onto the block, or click the link in the block to upload it.

Readers can preview the file or download it. Elium shows a preview of the most common formats, such as PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, and images. Every file can be downloaded in its original format.

Turn a file into an article

To create an article from the content of a PDF or Markdown file, click "Create", then "From file". Elium creates a draft from the file. To learn more, read Import files.
