Are Google Drive documents synchronized between Elium and Google Drive?
Only when you show them with the preview option of the GDrive block. Imported files are copies.
It depends on how you add the documents:

Preview with the "GDrive" block: yes. The document stays in Google Drive, and its changes show in Elium. Its content is not indexed, so search does not find it.

Import with the "GDrive" block: no. Elium keeps a copy, which search can find. Later changes in Google Drive are not copied.

Import of a whole folder by an administrator: no. The files are copied into Elium.
