Can We Merge Tags?

Yes, it is possible to merge tags from the administrator interface. Only administrators and system animators have the permission to merge tags. You can replace one defined tag with another. The tag you specify will automatically be attached to the articles that were associated with the initial tag. Please note that the initial tag will be permanently deleted.

For example: If I want to merge the 'HR' tag with the 'Human resources' tag, I click on the 'Merge' option next to the 'HR' tag and specify the 'Human resources' tag as the replacement.
