Estimated Read Time

At the top of an article, under the name of the author, you can see an estimated read time.

Elium calculates it like this:

• The text is divided by an average reading speed of 240 words per minute.

• Each image, file or other asset adds 12 seconds.

• The result is rounded up to the next minute.

The read time only shows when it is longer than one minute.

To hide it on an article, edit the article, open the content settings ("Settings" icon) and enable "Hide estimated time".
