Use Drafts

Save an article as a draft and work on it before you publish it.

Updated on 5 October 2026

When you create an article, you can publish it immediately or save it as a draft if it is not ready yet.

  1. Write your article.

  2. Click "Save" in the top right corner, then click "Save as draft".

  3. The tag window opens. Add tags if you want, then click "Save As Draft".

Nobody is notified when you save a draft. You find all your drafts in "My Contents", in the "Drafts" tab.

Who can see your draft

It depends on where you save the article. You choose the space in the list next to the "Save" button.

  • In "Personal Content", the draft is private. Only you can see it, and you cannot share it.

  • In a space, the other contributors of the space can open the draft too. Readers of the space cannot see it.

Drafts in a space are useful when you want to write an article with other people before you share it with a larger audience.

  • If a contributor saves a draft in a space you have access to, it appears in your "Drafts" tab only if you are invited to contribute to this article.

  • Activity on drafts, such as comments and likes, does not create notifications in the activity log.

  • Drafts are useful for long articles that take time to write.

You can also keep changes to a published article in a draft. To learn how, read Update Article.
