Share Public Articles to the Web
Create a public link so that people outside Elium can read an article.
Updated on 7 October 2026
Share to web creates a public link to an article. Anyone with the link can read the article in a browser, without an Elium account. Use it to share an article with partners, agencies, consultants or customers.
Share an article to the web
-
Open the article and click "Share".
-
Enable "Share to web". Elium creates the public link.
-
Click "Copy" to copy the link, then send it to the people outside your organisation.
To stop sharing, open the "Share" window again and disable "Share to web". The link then stops working.
What readers see
Readers see the title and the content of the article, including files and images. They cannot see any other content of the platform, or the comments and likes of the article.
See all the shared articles
-
Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click "Settings".
-
In the menu on the left, open "Advanced" and click "Security".
-
Under "Public Sharing", you see each shared article, who shared it and when. Click "Make private" to remove the public link.
If your plan allows it, the switch next to "Public Sharing" disables sharing to the web for the whole platform.
