Shared Alerts
Send a saved search by email to a list of users, and manage its subscribers.

A shared alert is an alert that you send to a list of users. Like a personal alert, it is a saved search: at each sending, subscribers receive by email the new articles that match the search.
Create a shared alert
There are two ways to create a shared alert:
-
When you create an alert from a search, enable "Alert is shared with other users".
-
Or convert one of your existing alerts:
-
Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click "Settings".
-
In the menu on the left, open "Emails" and click "Shared Alerts".
-
Click "Convert an Alert".
-
Choose one of your alerts and click "Convert".
-
Manage a shared alert
The "Shared Alerts" page lists the shared alerts of the platform, with their default frequency and their number of subscribers. Click the three dots at the end of an alert:
-
"Edit" changes the title, the description and the default frequency.
-
"View statistics" shows the emails sent, and how many users opened them.
-
"Manage Subscribers" opens the list of subscribers.
-
"Delete" deletes the shared alert.
Add or remove subscribers
-
Click the three dots at the end of the alert, then click "Manage Subscribers".
-
Click "Add subscriber" and choose the users.
To remove a user, click "Unsubscribe" on their row. The page also shows the users reached, the users engaged and the share of emails opened.
Subscribers find the shared alerts they receive in their settings, under "My account" > "Alerts" > "Shared Alerts".
When shared alerts are sent
-
A monthly alert is sent on the first day of each month.
-
The first email that a subscriber receives only contains articles published after they were subscribed.
For example, if you subscribe a user to a monthly alert on 24 November, their first email arrives on 1 December, with the articles published between 24 November and 1 December.
