Name, Description, and Introduction of the Space
The name and description of a space are displayed in various locations throughout the interface, making it easier to understand the mission and objectives of the space. You can modify these elements from the settings.
The introduction text appears alongside the activity feed. This text area features a comprehensive editor, allowing you to use bold, italics, titles, links, and lists. This provides an opportunity to further clarify the subject of the space and guide users to key information.
These three elements may be subject to translation.
Change Permissions and Visibilities
Change the group to which the space belongs.
Change the type of space.
Change the default role.
Turn it into a default space for every new user. All new users added to the platform will be included in this space and will assume the default role you have defined.
❗️Warning
Changing the type of space will directly affect the visibility of the content already present in the space. For instance, if you change a space from secret to public, the content within that space will automatically become public.
Notifications of the Space
Notifications are not enabled by default; this option is designed to alert members when new content is published. Like most notifications, it also sends an email to the targeted individuals, except for those who have disabled notifications for new content.
