The homepage is the first page people see when they open Elium. Several settings change what it shows.

Look and feel

Choose the default homepage ("Content feed" or "Spaces overview"), the items of the menu, the colours and the logos. See Look and feel.

Welcome message

The welcome message appears in the right sidebar of the homepage. See Setup the Welcome Box.

Pinned content

Administrators can pin articles at the top of the homepage, under "Pinned content". They stay there until you remove them. See Promote on the Homepage.

Promoted spaces

Promote a space to give it more visibility. In the settings of the space, open the "General" tab and go to the "Promote" card:

Promoted in the sidebar: the space appears in the menu on the left for all users.
Promoted in the overview: the space appears with a larger card in the spaces overview.

Then click "Save changes".

Favourite spaces

Each person can add spaces to their favourites. Open the space and click the star next to its name ("Mark as favourite"). The space then appears in their menu on the left.

Smart feeds

Smart feeds are blocks in the right sidebar that show a filtered list of articles, for everyone or for some teams. See Smart feeds.
