Adapt the platform to your brand: the homepage, the colours, the logos and the emails.

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click "Settings".

  2. In the menu on the left, open "General" and click "Look & feel".

The page has six cards. Each card has its own "Save changes" button.

Homepage

  • Default homepage: choose "Content feed" or "Spaces overview".

    • The content feed shows the latest articles, by date. Choose it when people publish a few articles each day and everyone should see each new article.

    • The spaces overview shows the spaces, by group. Choose it when people publish many articles each day, or when you use Elium as a reference knowledge base.

  • Manage menu: hide some items of the menu on the left, for example "Directory".

  • Activity Log: show the activity of the platform on the homepage.

  • Right sidebar: show the welcome message, the smart feeds and the activity log on the right of the homepage. Click "Edit" next to "Manage sidebar blocks" to change them. See Smart feeds.

Global theme

Choose the "Platform name", the "Accent colour" of buttons and links, the "Header colour" and the "Text header colour". If the header is dark, choose a light text colour.

Under "Editor colours preset", choose the colours that people can use in articles and comments. "Reset to default colours" restores the original list.

Upload the square logo shown at the top of the navigation bar in the new app layout. The old layout does not use it. Use a PNG or JPG file of at least 256 × 256 pixels. You can crop it after the upload.

Choose what the sign-in and registration pages show: the "Platform name" only, a "Small logo with platform name" or a "Large logo".

Advanced Settings

Upload the "Web application favicon" (32 × 32 pixels), shown in the browser tab, and the "Bookmark mobile icon" (256 × 256 pixels), shown when people add the platform to the home screen of their phone.

Mailing settings

Choose the logo and the sender name of the emails that the platform sends: use the platform logo and name, or choose others.
