Analytics at platform level
See how people use the platform: users, emails, content, search and spaces.
Updated on 6 October 2026
Analytics show how people use the platform and its content. There are three levels:
-
Platform analytics: the whole platform, for platform administrators. This article covers this level.
-
Space analytics: one space, for its administrators.
-
Article analytics: one article, for everyone who can read it.
Open the platform analytics
-
Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click "Settings".
-
In the menu on the left, open "Analytics". It has five pages: "Users", "Emails", "Contents", "Search" and "Spaces".
At the top of each page, choose the period: "7 days", "30 days" (the default), "6 months", "12 months" or "Custom". Most pages also have a "Select a team" list, to see the figures of one team only.
To download the data of a chart, click the menu in its top right corner.
Users
The three key figures are:
-
Total users: all the users of the platform.
-
Pending users: the users who did not finish their registration.
-
Active users: the users who opened the web or mobile application at least once during the period.
The "Active Users Trend" chart shows the number of active users over the period.
The "Active Users" card has two tabs:
-
"Most Active Users": the users with the most activity, with their publications, updates, reshares, likes, comments and views.
-
"Inactive Users": the users who did not open the web or mobile application during the period. Contact the people who left recently first: they are more likely to return.
The "Web & Mobile" chart compares the number of active users on the web application and on the mobile application.
Emails
This page shows how people react to the emails of the platform. In the list at the top, choose the email: "Activity Digest" or "Alert with Tags".
-
Users reached: the users who received the email during the period.
-
Users engaged: the users who opened the email during the period.
-
Emails opened: the share of delivered emails that were opened.
The "Emails sent" chart shows the emails sent and the emails viewed each day.
Contents
-
Views: the views during the period. Views on drafts do not count.
-
Publications & updates: the new publications and the updates during the period.
-
Social interactions: the likes and comments during the period.
-
Drafts: the drafts on the platform, without private personal drafts.
-
Contents: all the content on the platform, with drafts and archived content, but without private personal content.
-
Verified contents: the articles with a verification date, split between up-to-date articles and articles that need a verification. This card does not change with the period or the team. Click "See the expired content" to see the expired articles and their owners.
-
Expired Content Reads: the share of reads on articles that were past their verification date when people opened them.
The "Content Activities" chart shows the views, publications, updates, reshares, likes and comments over the period.
The "Trending Content" table lists the most viewed articles, with their space, likes, comments, views and number of users.
Click the chart icon at the end of a row to open the analytics of that article in a panel, without leaving the page.
Search
-
Searches: the number of searches during the period.
-
Users: the number of people who searched during the period.
-
Top 10 searches: the most frequent search terms, with the number of searches for each. If people cannot find what they need, click "Create an article".
Click "Export searches" to download all the searches as a file, with the number of results of each search. Use it to find the searches that return no results: they show the knowledge that is missing.
Spaces
The "Space Activities" chart compares the activity of the spaces during the period. The "Most Active Spaces" tab shows the most active spaces, and the "Inactive Spaces" tab shows the spaces with no activity.
The "Activity by Space" chart shows the activity of one space over the period. Choose the space in the list above the chart.
