In Elium, there is a distinction between the generic role of the users (system role), independent of their affiliation to spaces, and a specific role per space.
The combination of the system role and the role in the space grants the user certain rights.

Typical Examples of Profiling Rights
SCENARIO A
This user does not have a personal space; they only see spaces to which the administrator has granted access (they cannot see all public spaces); they only have read-only rights in space A; they cannot tag.
Usage: This is a commonly used combination for external individuals, suppliers, and trainees who are given very specific access.
SCENARIO B
This user does not have a personal space; they only see spaces to which the administrator has granted access; they have contribution and tagging rights in space A.
Usage: For people who have very limited rights, except for specific space A.
SCENARIO C
This user has a personal space; they can freely access public spaces and only have read-only rights in space A.
Usage: For individuals who have contribution rights except in space A. For instance, to restrict contributions in certain spaces where only specific users manage content.
SCENARIO D
They can freely access public spaces and have contribution rights in space A (add articles and metadata).
Usage: For all groups of users who are not treated specifically.
