Usage

With urgent notifications, Elium platform administrators can ensure that critical information reaches their teams in real time.

🔒 Permissions

Only platform administrators can send urgent notifications.

Send an urgent notification

To send a new urgent notification, go to the administration panel, to the "Urgent notification" tab in the "Emails" section.

Then click on the "Send aa new notification" button.

This will open a new window in which you can configure the urgent notification.

  1. Select an item to be attached to the notification

  2. Choose one or more users or a team

  3. Add a personalised message to the notification (optional)

User point of view

When a user is targeted by an urgent notification, he receives two signals.

The first is an email pointing directly to the attached article.

The second is a card in the bottom right corner of the application. This card also shows up in the browser extension. This card will only disappear if the user explicitly clicks on the “Mark as read” button. Opening the attached content will not close the insert.

The urgent notification is placed above any content and explicitly asks the user to mark the content as read.

Follow-up on urgent notifications

System administrators can monitor the validation rate of urgent notifications from the same page used to create them.

Reach

The overall read rate per notification can be viewed directly from the urgent notification management table. By clicking on this rate, the system administrator can see, user by user, those who have validated notifications and those who have not yet done so.

Finally, it is possible to archive a notification. This will remove the card for all users, even those who have not yet validated it.
