Keep Your Activity Feed Busy
Updated on 7 April 2025
The success of a platform depends particularly on its dynamism. It is essential to identify articles to post at a regular rate:
-
Post documents that are on your computer or on a shared drive, but avoid doing so in a messy or unsightly manner. Ensure that the content provides feedback or prompts reactions from readers.
-
Identify a few colleagues with retained knowledge and information that could be made public, such as personal insights, documents stored on a hard disk regarding specific subjects, or analytical skills and expertise on key topics.
-
Consider the articles that everyone needs but finds difficult to access, and work on making them more accessible.
Keep in mind that the articles on the platform must be:
-
Original, slightly unconventional, and innovative compared to what we typically find in content databases or on the intranet.
-
Of high added value for each of your target audiences. Ask yourself: if I take 5 different people who need to visit this platform, what value do they gain from it?
-
Familiar, yet presented in a way that offers added value or is more easily accessible than before (for example: official presentation templates, company glossaries, logos to be included in presentations, etc.).
-
Nowhere else to be found. For instance, an expert who has a dedicated space to share all their specialised knowledge that has not been previously disclosed, or the CEO who communicates directly with employees through a dedicated channel (such as a CEO Blog space).
