Query statistics
Read activity figures for the whole platform, one space or one story: active users, activity over time, most active users.
The API gives activity figures at three levels. For information about the content itself, use a search query instead.
| Level | Entry point |
|---|---|
| The whole platform | instance { statistics { ... } } |
| One space | space(slug:) { analytics { ... } } |
| One story | story(slug:) { analytics { ... } } |
Most fields take a time range (fromDate and toDate). The ones that return a series also take a tickInterval: DAY, WEEK or MONTH.
Platform statistics
This example counts the active users over four months, reads their activity week by week, and lists the 10 most active ones:
query platformStatistics {
instance {
statistics {
activeUsersCount(fromDate: "2026-01-01T00:00:00", toDate: "2026-05-01T00:00:00")
usersActivity(fromDate: "2026-01-01T00:00:00", toDate: "2026-05-01T00:00:00", tickInterval: WEEK)
mostActiveUsers(fromDate: "2026-01-01T00:00:00", toDate: "2026-05-01T00:00:00", first: 10) {
edges {
node {
user {
name
}
stats
}
}
}
}
}
}
The response:
{
"data": {
"instance": {
"statistics": {
"activeUsersCount": 28,
"usersActivity": [
["2026-01-01T01:00:00Z", 13],
["2026-01-08T01:00:00Z", 13]
],
"mostActiveUsers": {
"edges": [
{
"node": {
"user": { "name": "Knowledge Master" },
"stats": { "likes": 0, "comments": 0, "views": 3221, "publications": 0, "updates": 12, "reshares": 0, "annotations": 0, "all_events": 3695 }
}
},
{
"node": {
"user": { "name": "Jane Doe" },
"stats": { "likes": 0, "comments": 7, "views": 697, "publications": 62, "updates": 40, "reshares": 3, "annotations": 0, "all_events": 1085 }
}
}
]
}
}
}
}
}
A series such as usersActivity is a list of pairs: the start of an interval and its value.
Space and story figures
A space has analytics with the same kind of fields, among them activeUsersCount, viewsTrends, publicationsTrends and mostActiveContentTable. A story has analytics with viewsTrends, uniqueViewsTrends, commentsTrends and likesTrends, all of which require story.actions.advancedStats:
query storyViews {
story(slug: 123) {
analytics {
viewsTrends(fromDate: "2026-01-01T00:00:00", toDate: "2026-05-01T00:00:00", tickInterval: MONTH)
}
}
}
The GraphQL reference lists every field of InstanceStatistics, SpaceAnalytics and StoryAnalytics.
