Disable a member

When you disable a member:

  • They can no longer sign in.

  • They no longer appear on the platform, and their profile is archived.

  • Their contributions stay on the platform, with a mark that shows the member is disabled.

  • Their seat is free again.

To disable a member:

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click "Settings".

  2. In the menu on the left, open "General" and click "Members".

  3. Click the three dots at the end of the member's row, then click "Disable".

  4. Confirm in the "Disable user" window.

Enable a member again

To find disabled members, click "Status" and select "Disabled". Then click the three dots at the end of the member's row, and click "Enable". You need a free seat to enable a member.

Delete a member permanently

To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can delete a member and all their personal data.

  1. Disable the member.

  2. Click the three dots at the end of their row, then click "Delete".

  3. Confirm in the "Delete user" window.

After the deletion:

  • The profile shows the name "Deleted User", without any profile details.

  • The content and the activity of the member stay on the platform. To delete them, do it manually.

  • Mentions of the member still show the name they had before.
