At the beginning of the year, Elium shows relevant statistics to users to motivate them to contribute.

This information is displayed for all users. However, it is possible to deactivate this feature for the entire platform by simply sending a request to support@elium.com


At the beginning of the year, the platform offers users the opportunity to see personal and global statistics. These statistics allow the users to realize in a positive way their personal impact. It's a form of gamification.

This suggestion appears in a non-invasive form on the top right column of the platform's home page.

Opening the popup

Once the user clicks on the "Discover" button, a popup appears on the screen. The popup is composed of a sequence of three screens showing contribution statistics in a broad sense.

On this first page, the user is thanked for his role in the platform. There are three different roles:

  1. Giver, for users having published at least 10 contents

  2. Socializer, for people who have made at least a total of 20 likes and comments combined

  3. Reader, for people who are neither contributor nor socializer

This screen also shows a short explanation of the impact of each role.

Personal analytics

By clicking on next, the user is taken to the personal statistics screen.

Depending on his role, he receives different statistics.

Givers receive the following statistics:

  1. Number of likes on their content

  2. Number of views on their content

  3. Number of content created

Socializers receive the following statistics:

  1. Number of likes

  2. Number of comments

  3. Number of days of presence *

Readers receive the following statistics:

  1. Number of likes

  2. Number of content read

  3. Number of days of presence *

* Number of days during the year that the user has logged in at least once.

Platform analytics

By clicking on next from the personal statistics, the user reach a screen with the global statistics of the platform.

These statistics are intended to make the user understand the importance of the platform by showing them high numbers.

The metrics shown are as follows:

  1. Number of access to the platform

  2. Number of searches

  3. Number of access to the platform *

* Total number of days of presence for all the users.

Finally, a Happy New Year screen is displayed, ending the sequence.
