End of Year Analytics

At the beginning of the year, Elium shows relevant statistics to users to motivate them to contribute.

At the beginning of the year, the platform offers users the opportunity to view both personal and global statistics. These statistics empower users to recognize their personal impact in a positive way, serving as a form of gamification.
​

This suggestion appears in a non-invasive format in the top right column of the platform's home page.
​

Opening the Popup

Once the user clicks on the "Discover" button, a popup appears on the screen. The popup consists of a sequence of three screens showcasing contribution statistics in a broad sense.

On this first page, the user is thanked for their role on the platform. There are three different roles:
​

  1. Giver, for users who have published at least 10 articles.
    ​

  2. Socializer, for individuals who have made a total of at least 20 likes and comments combined.
    ​

  3. Reader, for users who are neither contributors nor socializers.
    ​

This screen also provides a brief explanation of the impact of each role.
​

Personal Analytics

By clicking "Next," the user is directed to the personal statistics screen.

Depending on their role, users receive different statistics.
​

Givers receive the following statistics:
​

  1. Number of likes on their articles.
    ​

  2. Number of views on their articles.
    ​

  3. Number of articles created.
    ​

Socializers receive the following statistics:
​

  1. Number of likes received.
    ​

  2. Number of comments made.
    ​

  3. Number of days of presence *
    ​

Readers receive the following statistics:
​

  1. Number of likes given.
    ​

  2. Number of articles read.
    ​

  3. Number of days of presence *
    ​

* Number of days during the year that the user has logged in at least once.
​

Platform Analytics

By clicking "Next" from the personal statistics, the user reaches a screen displaying the global statistics of the platform.

These statistics aim to help users understand the significance of the platform by presenting impressive figures.
​

The metrics shown include:
​

  1. Number of accesses to the platform.
    ​

  2. Number of searches performed.
    ​

  3. Total number of days of presence for all users.
    ​

* Total number of days that all users have logged in.
​

Finally, a "Happy New Year" screen is displayed, concluding the sequence.
