Only contributors can annotate and read annotations.

Contributors can annotate any block in an article, whether they are in the read-only view or directly in the editor.

To create a new annotation, simply click on the bubble that appears on the right when you hover your mouse over a block.

You can then initiate a thread.

Other contributors can then participate in the thread and share their perspectives. Once the issue is resolved, any contributor can close the thread, causing it to disappear.

When you annotate or respond to an annotation in an article, you will follow the article.

When someone annotates your article (as a contributor), you will receive a notification (you can adjust the notification settings in your preferences).
