To be able to preview documents in your browser, your browser should be configured to allow embeded pdf documents. This option should be enabled by default, but in case it's not in your installation, you can change it in your Settings:

Paste <code>chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments</code> in your browser's URL

- Paste <code>chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments</code> in your browser's URL
- Select Open PDFs in Chrome
