Use Drafts

Updated this week

When you create an article, Elium allows you to choose whether to publish it immediately or save it as a draft if it's not yet ready for publication.

The Different Draft Options

  1. If you save a draft in your "Personal space", it is only visible to you, and you cannot share it.

  2. If you save it in a collective space, every contributor of the space has de facto access to the draft. However, mere "Guests" do not have access.

Collaborative drafts are particularly useful when you want to work on articles with others before publishing and sharing them with a larger audience.

Draft
  • If a contributor saves an article as a draft in a space you have access to, this draft will appear in your list of drafts only if you are invited to contribute to this article.

  • Activities on drafts, such as comments and likes, will not generate any notifications in the activity log.

  • Drafts are especially valuable for articles that typically require more time to edit.
